Russian Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin Meets With Indian Prime Minister Modi

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin on Monday met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Indian city of Gandhinagar, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.

GANDHINAGAR (India) (Sputnik) — The meeting was held a day in advance of the 8th Global Summit Vibrant Gujarat in Gandhinagar. The talks lasted more than half an hour. It was Modi's first bilateral meeting within the frame of the forum.

Russian delegation at the forum includes representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, as well as representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Astrakhan Region.

The trade show within the summit's framework features more than 10 Russian companies, including nuclear energy corporation Rosatom.
