OULU (Sputnik) – Moscow has been actively engaged in the mediation of Syria talks, searching for a sustainable solution to the conflict.
"Concerning Syria, all of us are interested in peaceful settlement of the situation, in resolution of the problems, existing in the country and preserving Syria as a single state that will have a normal modern power and will not pose a threat to international relations," Medvedev said following the talks with his Finnish counterpart Juha Sipila.
