Lavrov, Mogherini Holding Meeting at OSCE Ministerial Council
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini are having talks on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council in Hamburg on Thursday.
HAMBURG (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Lavrov also met privately with his US counterpart John Kerry and OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.
The 23rd Ministerial Council of the OSCE kicked off earlier in the day and is expected to wrap up on Friday. The Council will see more top diplomats from 57 OSCE participating states as well as from 11 partners for cooperation gathering together to discuss major security issues.
