Kazakhstan's Leader Notes Proximity of Views of Astana, Tokyo on Int'l Issues

Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the similarity of positions with Japan following the meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, the president's press service said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Nazarbayev said that the both countries reached a high level of partnership and expressed hope for its further development, while Kishida also noted the efficiency of the meeting.

“I would like to mark the activity of the Japanese diplomacy in all the issues, including Central Asia. Japan and Kazakhstan share the views on all the international matters,” Nazarbayev was quoted as saying by the president's press service.

Kazakhstan's president arrived in Japan with a four-day visit on Sunday.
