    Earlier in the day, the Donetsk People's Republic has made the same step.

    LUGANSK (Sputnik) — Head of the Lugansk People's Republic in Donbass Igor Plotnitsky issued a decree postponing local elections scheduled for November 6 until further notice.

    "Resolution: to postpone the first elections of the local authorities… until the head of the Lugansk People's Republic issues a separate decision on their date," the decree read.
