MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Peru, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said Saturday.
"Yes, we are planning a trip to Peru," Ushakov told reporters.
Ushakov did not exclude that a meeting between Putin and his US counterpart Barack Obama, who will also come to Peru for the summit, was possible.
The APEC summit is scheduled to take place in Peru in November.
