Iran Should Take Advantage of ‘Historic Opportunity’ Provided by Brexit

According to the Iranian deputy chief of staff for Political Affairs, the country should take advantage of the historic opportunity that the UK’s vote to leave the European Union presents.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Iran should take advantage of the historic opportunity that the United Kingdom’s vote to leave the European Union presents, Iranian Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs Hamid Aboutalebi said Friday.

"Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union a ‘historic opportunity’ for Iran; [should present] new opportunities," Aboutalebi tweeted following the results of the so-called Brexit vote.
