Moscow will strive to include Kurds in intra-Syrian peace talks, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Moscow is in constant contact with the Kurds, according to the Foreign Ministry:

"We are in constant talks with the Kurds, of course. So we will strive for them to be included at the necessary level," Bogdanov told reporters.

Kurds could take part in one of the rounds of intra-Syrian talks in Geneva, Qadri Jamil, one of the leaders of the Syrian Popular Front for Change and Liberation, said earlier on Thursday.
