Asaad al-Zoubi, head of the Syrian opposition’s High Negotiations Committee, said that the Syrian egime is sending a strong message that it does not want political solution of crisis.

GENEVA (Sputnik) – The Syrian opposition’s High Negotiations Committee accused the Syrian government on Friday of launching offensives before negotiations as it prefers a military, rather than a political, solution to the crisis in the country.

"The regime is sending a strong message that it does not want political solution, but is seeking a military solution… Regime conducted fierce attacks against Aleppo. Also today it has conducted an assault against Aleppo," Asaad al-Zoubi, head of the HNC delegation, told reporters after meeting UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura at the intra-Syria talks.
