MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Moscow views Turkey as a friendly country, but considers the behavior of certain Turkish politicians inadequate, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"We have, in general, very good relations with our neighbors. And Turkey, too, we consider our friend and the Turkish people are friendly people to us, with whom we are definitely going to build the kindest neighboring relations," Putin said during the Direct Line Q&A session.
The Russian leader added that the behavior of several Turkish officials was inappropriate, which prompted Russia’s corresponding reaction.
