The delegation of Syria’s internal opposition formed at the Russian Hmeymim airbase in Syria continues to insist that the future government should include both pro-government forces and members of all opposition groups, Mais Krydee, representative of the delegation, told Sputnik on Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day,  Krydee met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov to discuss a roadmap on the political solution for Syria.

“We talked about the roadmap for political solution. We talked about the national government… Our idea is as before – that the national government should consist of the current government forces and every opposition,” Krydee said.

Hmeymim opposition group joined the Syrian peace talks in Geneva during the March round, bringing a road map for the political solution and a draft constitution to the table.

"We did not discuss constitution [at the meeting with Bogdanov], we spoke only in general, about the situation in Syria," Krydee said, asked whether she discussed the issue of the constitution with the Russian diplimat.

In an interview to Sputnik in late March, Syrian President Bashar Assad said that a transitional body should be formed by various Syrian political forces — opposition, independent, the current government and others.
