GENEVA (Sputnik) – The Swiss city of Geneva is currently hosting proximity talks between the opposition and the Syrian government.

"This round will end on March 24 with defining specific tasks for the delegations for the next round. De Mistura will submit his questions to each of the delegations on the three main issues — transitional governing body, constitution and elections, and we will work on them until the next round," the source told Sputnik.

The source added that the hardest work would entail drafting the text of the new constitution.

"However, it is not up to us [the delegations] to work out the text of the constitution. We just need to define its general framework," the source said.
