US Secretary of State John Kerry believes that anti-Russian sanctions could be lifted in a matter of months, should the Minsk agreeemtns be fully implemented

DAVOS (Switzerland), (Sputnik) – Sanctions against Russia over the Ukrainian crisis may be lifted within the next few months if the Minsk agreements are fulfilled, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday.

“And I believe that with effort and with legitimate intent to solve the problem on both sides it is possible in these next months to find those Minsk <…> agreements implemented and to get to a place where sanctions can be appropriately, because of the full implementation, <..> removed,” Kerry said during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
