    The establishment of a Russian airbase in Belarus was not discussed during Tuesday's presidential meeting.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The establishment of a Russian airbase in Belarus was not discussed during Tuesday's meeting between the two countries' presidents, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.

    "No, it was not discussed," Peskov told RIA Novosti.

    Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko met in Moscow earlier in the day.
