Montenegro Protests From A to Z: What is the Nation Calling For?
BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — The European Commission called on the Montenegrin government to start negotiations with opposition parties to speed up the country's EU accession, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said.

"Montenegro has made progress in its accession negotiations… I would like to also take this opportunity to recall the need for constructive and inclusive dialogue between government and opposition – dialogue that has to take place in parliament! Only they can find the best way forward," Hahn said in a statement.

Montenegro currently holds formal EU candidacy status.
