Russia, Brazil Mull Cooperation in Energy, Nuclear Spheres – Brazilian FM
UFA (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff discussed bilateral cooperation in nuclear energy, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

"A whole spectrum in bilateral ties was touched upon, including cooperation in nuclear energy," Peskov said.

He said that the two leaders had "a very long and informative" discussion.

"The Brazilian side also raised the topic of difficulties Brazilian exporters have delivering agricultural products to Russia," Peskov said at a press conference.

Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira told Sputnik on Wednesday that Brazil and Russia were already discussing joint projects in the energy sphere.

Russia's Rusatom Overseas, a division of the Russian nuclear giant Rosatom, and Brazil's Camargo Correa have already singed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of nuclear power units in the Latin American country.
