Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Malaysian and Indonesian counterparts, the Australian Prime Minister and the head of the IMF on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing.

BEIJING, November 10 (RIA Novosti) — Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Malaysian and Indonesian counterparts on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing.

Putin and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will discuss issues related to the MH17 crash.

The Russian president will also meet the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde. The two will discuss assistance to Ukraine's economy.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Putin will hold a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

According to his aide Yury Ushakov, Putin will not have a full-length bilateral meeting with US President Barack Obama.

The Russian president has already held meetings with Chinese, Japanese and Chilean leaders.

The APEC summit brings together 21 nations in a bid to join forces against global challenges. The main focus of the summit will be on the creation of a new Asia-Pacific partnership. The Ebola virus, air pollution, terrorism and corruption are also expected to receive attention during the summit.
