UFO, Tornado or Mushroom Cloud: Mesmerising View of Finland's Northern Lights

Subscribe
The brilliant illumination of the Aurora Borealis is an exciting and fascinating impression that only happens once in a lifetime.

Finland is one of the best places in the world to watch the Northern Lights. The season to observe the Northern Lights begins in late August when the nights become darker and continues until the beginning of April when the nights get brighter. The further you get away from the city lights, the better, so the primeval spaces of Finnish Lapland are the best place to observe this amazing phenomenon.
