The Women's Beautiful Buttock competition was held on June 24.

Modern beauty standards have changed the attitudes of women in terms of how they look: plump derrieres are considered to be a big plus. This trend, which has come to the US, Europe and Russia from Latin America, is now taking Asia by storm.

Ladies from different parts of China gathered in Shenyang, a city in Liaoning province on June 24 to show off their perfect curves during the Women's Beautiful Buttock competition.

In November 2016, Brazil held a similar competition, Miss BumBum, which was attended by more than 10 million people. Erika Canela, a 24-year-old beauty from Bahia won the main title of the contest.
