A Diplomat and a Gentleman: In Memory of Vitaly Churkin

Vitaly Churkin, a prominent diplomat and Russia's permanent representative to the UN, passed away in New York on February 20, 2017; he would have turned 65 on February 21.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin and diplomats from all over the world have expressed their condolences to Churkin's family, praising the late envoy's impressive record and impeccable conduct.
