    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs currently houses the offices for ministers for the Russian Federation. In 1947, the second proposal regarding its construction was accepted, but according to the Ministry’s request a metal spire was added to the tower’s roof, to match the surrounding architecture.

    Moscow is a city of contrasts. Residents and visitors can always get a break from megapolis life by looking at it from above. Up there a totally different picture of the nation’s capital emerges. Seven legendary skyscrapers, the so-called “Seven Sisters" designed in the Stalinist style, are something not to miss.
