    The 18th division of the 3rd corps of the Syrian Army advanced to combat positions 20 kilometers away from the city of Palmyra.

    The Syrian Army destroyed dozens of militants in the provinces of Homs and Hama, Brigadier General Ali Mayhoub said during a briefing on Monday. He said that nearly 40 militants were killed along the Palmyra — Beirut and Al-Ful – Malatia highway.
