Bonhams auction house staged an exhibition of vintage cars at the Grand Palais in Paris, followed on February 5 by a sale of historic cars by world’s top automotive brands.
Bonhams is a privately owned British auction house and of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers. It hosts auctions in more than 70 categories including fine arts, motor cars, music instruments, vines, carpets and design pieces. The Rolls-Royce 40/50HP Silver Ghost (L) is a luxurious motor car which was designed and produced by British automotive company Rolls-Royce. The Silver Ghost is believed to be one of the most technically advanced vehicles in the history of the automotive industry.

This Harley-Davidson motorbike was presented to Pope Francis. Its estimated cost was between 15,000 and 25,000 euros. Money raised for this Harley-Davidson will be spent for charity.
The fuel tank of Pope Francis’ Harley-Davidson is signed by Pope Benedict XVI. The company sent two fuel tanks to the Pontiff to be signed by him. Then, they were sent back to the company and mounted in motorbikes. One of the bikes is at the company’s museum; the other was to be presented to Benedict XVI. He resigned, and the motorbike was presented to Pope Francis in June 2013.

The BMW Isetta 300 was one the most successful micro cars produced after World War II when cheap short-distance vehicles were the most needed. The car is often called "bubble" because of the shape of its body. The driver gets inside through the single front door, and the steering wheel is attached to the door. The Isetta 300 is very popular with vintage cars collectors. Its cost varies from 5,000 to 15,000 euros.
The collection includes a Ferrari 250GT SWB California Spider once owned by French actor Alain Delon. The car was expected to fetch between 9.5 and 12.5 million euros.
