A new survey revealed this week that more than half of Germans are afraid for their future amid humanitarian and economic crises and the increasing frequency of terrorist attacks.

The poll, which surveyed 2,000 people, also revealed declining trust in German politicians, with nearly 90% saying they thought lawmakers in their country would continue to lose approval.

It may be good news for the country's psychologists, who may just see a heightened demand for their services.
