Spreading Flames: Wildfires Ravage US

Subscribe
Firefighters are battling blazes across California and Nevada amid record-breaking heat all over the US. California’s Mojave National Preserve has been engulfed in flames, with the authorities unable to douse the fire.
The York Fire, erupted on July 28 in the New York Mountain Range of California’s Mojave National Preserve, and advanced into Nevada on Sunday after being stirred up by the wind. It has occupied an area of over 70,000 acres, and remains entirely out of control.
The blazes have spread rapidly in all directions due to fire whirls, which are extremely difficult to put out, while the heat and wind prevent firefighters from containing the fires.
This summer, many states have been experiencing record-breaking temperatures. Thus, dozens of wildfires have erupted across the US, including one terrorizing both sides of the US-Canada border.
