Furball's Daily Life: Celebrating International Cat Day

Subscribe
Across the world, 8 August is observed as the International Cat Day. While the celebration was established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare, its custodianship has since passed to a British not-for-profit organization called International Cat Care.
The goal of this observance is to raise awareness for cats – adorable but capricious creatures who have served as man’s companions and stalwart defenders against rodent infestations since time immemorial.
Feel free to peruse this photo gallery we have compiled for the occasion.
