The Jokulsarlon is a large glacial lake in southern Iceland. It formed after a glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The size of the lake has increased four times since the 1970s due to the melting of glaciers.
The spot is famous for the so-called Diamond Beach, a shore covered with blocks of ice of all shapes and sizes.
