Nicola Sturgeon Says Most Covid-19 Restrictions Will Be Lifted in Scotland On 9 August
I understand the PM will visit Scotland later this week. Since this would be our first opportunity to meet in person for a while, I’ve invited him to Bute House to discuss Covid/recovery. We differ politically, but our governments must work together where we can. pic.twitter.com/Fo4N4nr2oN— Nicola Sturgeon (@NicolaSturgeon) August 2, 2021
Nicola Sturgeon can keep her sarcasm.— Stephen Kerr MSP (@RealStephenKerr) August 3, 2021
Having a Level Zero which still has restrictions, then having a "beyond level Zero" which STILL has restrictions: that's terrible communication.
Ms Sturgeon said she hoped to restore a "substantial degree of normality" but said it did not "signal the end of the pandemic."
She added: "Declaring freedom from or victory over this virus is in my view premature."
