Penguins live almost exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere. Emperor penguins are the largest living species – adults can measure 1.1 metre tall and weigh up to 35 kg.

Penguins have serious personality, whether in the zoo or the wild, they're always doing funny stuff. Just look at how they walk.

This video shows an emperor penguin waddling down an icy shore into the water – it's quite an entrance.
