SpaceX Crew-1 Holds Press Conference Prior to Crew Dragon's Launch to ISS

The launch of Crew Dragon was initially scheduled for 31 October, however, it was postponed until 14 November because SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket engines were found to be defective during the launch of a new US GPS satellite.

Sputnik goes live from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral as representatives of the SpaceX Crew-1 mission​ are taking part in a press conference prior to the launch of the Crew Dragon to the ISS that is scheduled to take place on Saturday.

The first joint crew rotation mission comprises NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, as well as Soichi Noguchi from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.
