Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov holds a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday following online talks with ASEAN foreign ministers.
Besides the issue of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting was expected to address cooperation in the fields of security, high-tech, and innovative industries, as well as information and communication technologies.
The senior officials were also expected to discuss the role of ASEAN mechanisms, including the East Asia Summit.
