According to the Russian TV channel Zvezda, the men stopped on the sidelines when the bear approached their pickup truck. While the hunters were talking, the animal stole a container from the pickup and ran away. The men tried to scare away the bear with three shots in the air, but it still disappeared in the forest with its "prey".
According to the channel, this bear is often lured by drivers passing along the highway, which explains the animal's behaviour.
