Russian Surfers 'Hijack' Ice Float
09:50 GMT 22.03.2017 (Updated: 19:29 GMT 19.10.2022) As spring has finally come, a group of stand up paddle (SUP) surfers decided to celebrate the opening of the new season and went for a ride in Vladivostok. But simple paddling seemed too boring for the thrill seekers, so they’ve decided to occupy a huge piece of ice and have some fun!
About 30 brave SUP surfers hijacked an ice float in the Amur Bay. It's hard to imagine how this melting piece of ice managed to hold them, as they danced and even organized a barbeque on it.
