Bomb disposal units and fire department employees are working in at Sputnik's headquarters in Moscow following the bomb threat call.

On Wednesday morning, an unidentified woman informed Moscow's police department about an explosive device which had allegedly been planted in the Sputnik HQ on Zubovsky Bulvar, a source in the emergency services told RIA Novosti.

"We received an anonymous call about a bomb threat in a building on Zubosky Bulvar. According to the preliminary data, it was a woman who called, her identity is being verified," the source said.

The Union of Journalists of Russia, the TV channel Moscow 360, and a restaurant are located in the same building on Zubovsky Bulvar as Sputnik HQ.

However, it seems it was a false alarm. Sputnik continues to work as planned.
