MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Cameron's press office, the United Kingdom will create the international anti-corruption center jointly with the United States, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Interpol.
Cameron's intention to set up the anti-corruption center has been overshadowed by the Panama Papers allegations against him for failing to immediately acknowledge his father’s directorship of an offshore investment fund run from the Bahamas. It was later revealed that Cameron has received a tax-free inheritance from his father and given gifts by his mother in possible avoidance of inheritance tax.
"Today you'll see we are committing to setting up an international anti-corruption coordination center here in London inside our national crime agency," Cameron said at the Anti-Corruption Summit in the UK capital.
