Vladimir Putin will attend Formula One Grand Prix in Russia's city of Sochi on Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend Formula One Grand Prix in Russia's city of Sochi on Sunday, the Kremlin press-service said in a statement on Saturday.

"On May 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the Russian stage of the Formula One World Championship in Sochi," the statement said.

The fourth race in the Formula-1 Grand Prix season will be held in the Russian city of Sochi from April 29 until May 1.
