05:20 GMT 15.02.2016 (Updated: 19:26 GMT 19.10.2022) DARPA successfully conducted a test flight of a quadrocopter with a full load of sensors and cameras at a speed of 20m/s (45mph).
It is peculiar that the operators tracked the drone but did not have their fingers on controls. The software implemented in the drone helped it self-navigate around obstacles.
