Kremlin Strikes Back at Accusations of Syria Peace Talks Failure
CAIRO (Sputnik) — Last week, the United Nations postponed talks on Syrian reconciliation as the parties were unable to reach a compromise on a number of issues. The opposition and government delegations blamed each other for the breakdown in the talks.

The negotiations are expected to resume on February 25.

"I am sure that such proposals [to enable the Syrian opposition to meet and come to a consensus before the next round of negotiations in Geneva] will come from our side and from those, who act in unison with us," Kirpichenko told RIA Novosti in an interview.
