MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The projects that are promising for the navy and the army that Russia’s Fund for Perspective Research has begun must be completed, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
"What is clear is that the works which are taking place now have to be completed. I mean the perspective equipping of soldiers, small arms, information and intelligence units," Putin said at a meeting on issues facing the research fund.
According to the president, another priority for the fund should be assisting the development of innovative defense systems and equipment.
The Fund for Perspective Research was founded in 2013 to strengthen research and production of technology for the Russian military.
In June, the fund announced that it had developed technology controlled by brain signals.
