BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Russia and the European Union will hold a meeting in the Belgian capital of Brussels to discuss countering terrorism in February, Russia's EU envoy Vladimir Chizhov said Monday.
"In Brussels, in February," Chizhov told RIA Novosti, answering the question about the place and the date of negotiations.
He added that the sides would discuss a wide range of issues and the list of participants would be announced with due time.
The international community is currently on high alert in the wake of the deadly attacks in the French capital, explosion on board a Russian Kogalymavia-operated A-321 airliner and the spike of violence in many other regions of the world incited and committed by radicals, extremists and terrorists.
