ANKARA (Sputnik) – Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu will take part in a November 14 meeting in Vienna to discuss solutions to end the four-year Syrian civil war, Turkish Foreign Ministry’s Press Service said Thursday.

“It is expected that our minister will participate in this meeting,” a Turkish spokesman told RIA Novosti.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, US State Secretary John Kerry, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, and UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura are expected to take part in the upcoming negotiations.

In late October, the Austrian capital of Vienna hosted top diplomats from some 20 countries, including Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, for reconciliation talks on Syria. Representatives of the current Syrian government were not present at the meeting.
