MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The leaders of BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union will meet in the Russian city of Ufa on July 9, SCO Presidential Envoy Bakhtier Khakimov said Friday.
“On July 9, there will be a meeting of leaders from BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union and the SCO,” Khakimov said.
The SCO and BRICS summits in Ufa will not intersect with one another because they have different formats, Khakimov said.
“The agenda doesn’t formally intersect because the tasks are much different,” Khakimov clarified.
