Earlier on Thursday, a source in the Russian delegation told journalists that a plenary meeting of the P5+1 group and Iran, as well as a Russian-Iranian bilateral meeting, have taken place in the Austrian capital.

On Wednesday, diplomats from China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and Iran met for another round of talks in Vienna.

The mechanism of re-imposing sanctions in the event of Iran's breaching the conditions of the deal was one of the sticking points in the talks, along with the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) gaining access to Iranian military sites, which Tehran says are not related to its nuclear program.

The sides are due to work out a final text of the comprehensive agreement on Iran's nuclear program by the end of June.
