The works illustrate mankind's obsession with information technology, and how it leads to narcissism.

Hovnanian points out how peoples' obsession with gadgets alienates them from their loved ones, and urges people to rethink their approach to the digital world.

Table for Two: Moscow consists of a five-meter long table on which a wedding cake resides, with two newlyweds sitting on the opposite ends staring at each other via their tablets. There are a series of pictures of men and women lying in bed, their faces partially illuminated by the electronic gadgets that have absorbed their attention.

"Gadgets can be entertaining and help you save time," Hovnanian said once during an interview. "But perhaps we should all pause and wonder if we just fell into another trap."
