GENEVA, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - A new report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the situation in Ukraine is most likely to be presented October 7, High Commissioner's spokesperson told RIA Novosti Friday.

Rupert Colville, spokesperson of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, told RIA Novosti that the report will probably be issued on Tuesday. However, Colville did not specify on the reasons for the delay, as the report should have been presented October 3.

The report is expected to examine the situation in Ukraine in the period August 18 – September 16 and contain information on mass graves discovered in the Donetsk Region.

On September 23, several mass graves with over 400 bodies of civilians and pro-independence fighters, apparently killed execution-style, were found some 21 miles northeast of the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk.

Independence supporters of southeastern Ukraine claim that the massacre was carried out by Ukraine's National Guard fighters, who had stayed in the area since April, when Kiev launched its military operation in the region. Ukrainian authorities have denied the accusation.

Earlier in the week, Russian Investigative Committee claimed it has irrefutable evidence of the National Guard and the Right Sector nationalist group's participation in the mass killings.
