Two supporters of President Mikheil Saakashvili were attacked with sticks by opposition protesters in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on Wednesday.
The two people were set upon after they began chanting "Misha [Mikheil Saakashvili] is cool."
The incident was broadcast live by the opposition-leaning Maestro TV channel.
Supporters of Georgian parliamentary speaker and opposition leader Nino Burdzhanadze have been rallying in Tbilisi for the past five days. They want Saakashvili to step down.
