Over 20 people were injured in clashes between police and opposition activists which occurred in time of an anti-governmental rally in the Croatian capital of Zagreb on Saturday, Croatian media said.
About 1,000 protestors tried to approach the government building demanding resignation of Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor's cabinet, police used tear gas to disperse the crowd.
The disturbances began after a rally comprising around 10,000 people who called on the Croatian government to protect war veterans after a Croat was arrested in Bosnia on charges of war crimes ended in Zagreb. A group of young people including football fans tried to break through police cordon and a scuffle broke out.
Clashes between police and protestors also took place last Tuesday.
