Around 1,900 guests have been invited to attend the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton due on April 29, a royal spokesman said.
The text of the gold-embossed invitation says: "The Lord Chamberlain is commanded by The Queen to invite ... to the marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G., with Miss Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29th April, 2011 at 11.00 a.m."
The guests are required to wear "uniform, morning coat or lounge suit," the card says.
The names of the guests on the list have not been revealed, but it is expected to include the couple's relatives and friends, celebrities and leading politicians.
Some 650 guests will be honored to attend the lunchtime reception at the Buckingham Palace. Only 300 of them will attend a private evening reception.
