Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will meet with his Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich on January 20, his press service said on Monday.
Myasnikovich replaced former premier Sergei Sidorsky, whose government resigned following the re-election of President Alexander Lukashenko in December.
The agenda will include energy and trade cooperation issues, the statement said.
Belarusian media have said Myasnikovich has been charged with negotiating a cheaper price for Russian gas imports.
