VLADIKAVKAZ, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - A car exploded Wednesday evening outside a hotel in the center of Vladikavkaz in the Russian republic of North Ossetia, a law enforcement official said.
"The car apparently belongs to the city deputy mayor," he said.
Another source confirmed the car indeed belonged to Deputy Mayor Mairam Tamayev, adding that the city official had not been hurt.
There are no reports of casualties and no other details of the incident are available.
